Shadab College of Education

Shadab College of Education is one of the few colleges of education in the private sector that
has over the years succeeded not only in managing very successfully number of sessions but
also creating infrastructure facilities that can mates least in the private sector. Established in
early nineties with a main objective of preparing teachers who are skillful, have communicative
skills and problem solving capacities. The college was initiated by a trust which is running
number of educational institutions that have over the years made a mark at the state level.
The college made a humble beginning in a privately rented building but the consistent and
encouraging results helped the management to attract students not only from the locality but
also from adjacent states. The college managed to conduct the academic sessions even in the
adverse conditions in the state in nineties. The college is now humed in the most ultramodern
complex. It has . classrooms, laboratories, libraries that are as per the norms of NCTE. The
college also has a very big and well maintained playfield that is also used by the leading
associations of the state. The college has established a lab school on its campus. The college
provides on the campus and outside campus hostel facilities for students. Good results and
creative of infrastructure facilities encouraged us to table this bold initiative of applying for NAAC
accreditation. The college is located in the vicinity of Srinagar capital city of J&K. at a two
kilometer distance from the University of Kashmir. In the vicinity of the college are number of
good established schools.
